When he came to his senses, he found himself floating in a black limitless space. Perhaps the disease had finally won.
“Is this heaven?” he whispered. He swam upward in this strange new realm, bypassing gigantic jellyfish. They followed after him, lighting the way.
His life’s journey had only begun.
