Ooh! Fun! I honestly almost wrote that there is a cinematic quality to your story…makes sense! 😀 Those are great films…I have seen a couple but have not read the novels!
Ed’s only essentials for flying were earbuds. They didn’t need to be pricey AirPods. They were plugged into his empty pocket. But they did the trick. He attracted talkers like fleas to a hound, so he took no chances. Even a seatmate without an open mouth might be a ventriloquist.
Unbridled lust flows through her trembling body as she waits. The door finally opens, and she runs to him, open-mouthed, flaming with desire. His manly arms enfold her as he whispers into her ear the words she longs to hear.
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your words, Theresa! (Has it really been a year already? Wow—time flies!) You are most welcome here. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
My grandson is learning how to drive his little battery-powered truck, struggling to coordinate the steering with the excelerator pedal. As he barreled toward his mother’s flock of chickens, they scattered in a wild panic which triggered excitement and a delightful wide open smile. Mischief and mayhem rule the day.
Sharon, I absolutely adore this story because we all have those awkward stories from our childhood. And I can only imagine that the news spread like wildfire! Thank you so much for sharing!
Not only braces did I wear, but one of those ungodly headgear contraptions…ugh! Thank you, Justin, for your comment, and for the memory-sparking prompt! I look forward to the next one!

Sharon sat, open-mouthed, waiting to receive and then launched at the same time as Tommy. He missed but her piece landed squarely in. He proceded to choke, but it was fake-to make her laugh. After, they sat cuddled under the blanket and finally watched the movie. Her heart was full.
The dental clinic-
The interpol agent felt safe in the posh dental chair and opened his mouth while letting down his guard.
The anesthesia numbed his pain.
Too late he recognized the tattoo of the terrorist group he was hunting on the dental assistant.
She smiled wickedly while she plunged in the cyanide.
Oh my! What an excellent story, Sunil!
I'm going through the Jason Bourne series:)
"I would stand in line for this
There's always room in life for this
Oh baby, oh baby
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Oh baby, oh baby
Then it fell apart, it fell apart..."

“Jimmy! Close your mouth when you eat,” yelled his sister Karen.
Getting no response, she went into the kitchen.
Where Jimmy usually sat was an open mouth with a foot sticking out of it. It chomped once more, then said, “You’re next.”
Karen fainted dead away.
“Perfect!” said the mouth.
A fifty-word horror story! Clever and creepy…I like it! Thanks so much for sharing, Bill.

Young Love~CNF
Deep in puppy love, the 12-year-olds were finally alone, behind the backstop.
First kiss, sweetly placed lips, and suddenly, “mmph!” Their braces
Locked! They tried to scream, but in vain. Fire department was called, parents arrived.
Alas! The whole school knew! Thus ended the tale of “Iron Lips.”

You draw an unforgettable image with your poem, Justin. I remember chasing fireflies as a boy.
Thank you so much for reading, K.C! I have many fond memories as well. I was chasing them the other night with my son. 🙂
