Friends, family, fellow writers and readers: it’s been far too long!
Let me start by saying I hope you are healthy and safe.
To put it bluntly, 2021 hasn’t been much easier than 2020. The good news is I finally feel settled, grounded, and in the right frame of mind to continue publishing my tiny tales on Micro 2 Go. I’m humbled you are still here to read my fiction.
I don’t have any major updates. My two kiddos are happy and healthy. (Mom and Dad are dead tired.) I’ve been lucky enough to snag a teaching position much closer to home - six minutes door to door - giving me three hours back, daily. (By the way, don’t commute an hour and a half one way. It will slowly kill you and your spirit.)
My plan is to continue publishing original microfiction twice a week on Monday and Friday. Stories will range anywhere from 50-250 words, though anyone who knows me is well aware of my affinity for “fifties”. On occasion, I will also post an essay, rumination, or other content on Wednesday, though this will only occur once or twice a month.
Instead of waiting for September to roll around, I’m going to resume publishing on Monday, August 30th. Keep an eye out in your inbox!
Thanks again for being here, and I’m sure we’ll talk soon. More importantly, I hope you enjoy my stories!
All the best,
- Justin
