I love it when you collect these for us and present them again, Justin. Each one here is a poignant little jewel. But "Dazed" is truly a dystopian horror -- the fact that he would seek solace on You Tube...? Where has our species ( myself included) decided to live? Question: Exactly how many videos of men getting their hair cut, and Kermit the cat, and furniture restorations does it take to hypnotize one's self for one entire day and stay oblivious to the real world? Yikes.
Thank you so much for the kind words, Sharron. I appreciate your feedback as well. I agree with you. “Dazed” was an eerie one for me to write. I have hope for the future (somehow), but if we aren’t careful, technology might ensnare us all!
It was my fav too! Its just what I think nk whenever I see kids with their phones constantly in their faces. That we are all doomed if we expect this generation to accomplish a damn thing.
They are all terrific. You can pack a lot of emotion into fifty words. Just Be is delightful for the main character's acceptance of what is. I can tell you gave these stories a lot of thought.
I really appreciate the sentiment, K.C. It’s funny how long some of these fifty-word stories can take to write. A lot of thought is put into every word! Thank you for noticing and for reading. 🙏
These are pretty intense, Justin. You really nailed them.
Thanks so much, James!
Genuine emotions!
Thanks a bunch for reading, Bob!
