The best thing about this story is that the child is a reader, like the mother is a reader. It is not accidental. A parent's job is to teach good habits to our children. We must provide good models early on, teach them the value of reading, of courage, of kindness. So many parents these days simply abdicate. Instead of parenting, the child is given a smartphone. It is heart-breaking to me. A very thoughtful story, Justin. Thank you.
