Haha! I like to think that I’m a pretty normal guy who has lots and lots of story ideas. I mainly don’t veer into the “horror” territory, but something compelled me to go there. I’ll blame it on Halloween! 🎃
You nailed it. Before I started writing this story I was thinking about those toxic relationships where one person controls the other’s life. Some people lose their individual identities in these horrible relationships because they go so far out of their way to appease the other person. Then I thought...hmm...let me add a dark element to this...and this is what came out.
It’s one thing to “dig” somebody. But digging your own grave is not a great relationship starter.. 🤣
Hahaha! Definitely not a great start. I’d avoid using it as any form of pickup line, too. 🤣
