Hey there! I hope you’re doing well.
I wanted to reach out to let you all know that I’ll resume publishing my short fiction here at Micro 2 Go on Monday.
Taking a break to recharge the batteries was exactly what I needed. I feel refreshed and restored in every way, and I’ve been able to iron out my writing plans and goals. I’ve decided on a few things. I’m going to:
Solely publish my short fiction here at Micro 2 Go.
Stop submitting my short fiction to other journals and publications.
Continue writing my WIP & children’s book ideas on the side.
My reason for wanting to publish through Substack solely is simple: it’s where my friends, family, and readers are. Why hold on to stories that mean something to me? Why let them sit in submission queues for six months to a year, when they will likely be rejected anyway? I’d rather get my stories out there into the wild, into the world, because they’ll at least get a chance at life.
With all of this said, thank you for being here to read my stories and for making this experience so much fun.
See you Monday!
- Justin
I have exciting news to share: You can now read Micro 2 Go in the new Substack app for iPhone.
With the app, you’ll have a dedicated Inbox for my Substack and any others you subscribe to. New posts will never get lost in your email filters or stuck in spam. Longer posts will never be cut off by your email app. Comments and rich media will all work seamlessly. Overall, it’s a big upgrade to the reading experience.
The Substack app is currently available for iOS. If you don’t have an Apple device, you can join the Android waitlist here.
This daily thing is really grinding on me. I'm glad you're feeling more energized.
That sounds like a good plan. Why deal with rejections and build someone else’s audience? Building your own audience where you already have readers. It is more fun. 🙂
