My car died in the middle of the Nevada desert. In the car were 20 boxes of books that had to be moved to a rental minivan. AAA almost towed and left us at a permanently closed auto shop!
Oh my goodness! That is some horrible luck. I feel your pain. I broke down on the Taconic State Parkway the morning after the Super Bowl last year. It was -2 degrees or right around there. I had to wait for four hours to get towed (the first truck never showed up!) - only for the driver to tell me I had to find my own ride to the shop (roughly thirty miles away). Ugh! š
